剛剛聽到英國廣播電台新聞報告，在學校槍擊多人的少年疑兇的父母在底特律被捕。據報父亲在黑色星期五给兒子買了自动手槍作圣诞礼物，母亲在臉書上跟兒子炫耀，幾天后校長約見那父母，因有消息說有些人有恐懼，當天稍后就发生槍軎，多人受傷及死亡，兒子當場被捕，父母幾天後逃亡，不久之後就被捕。這案件給我很多想法。
這父親知道兒子很喜歡槍，就買了一枝給他作聖誕禮物，並且一早就送給他，母親兒子都很高興，但同學們卻很擔憂，有些卻定不上學，以致校長要約見父母，但父母沒有什麼行動來防止槍軎事件，所以也被告，但在上庭前卻逃亡。昨天我們在晚餐時都認為他們會很快被捕，因為現今的科技這麼發達，果然今天一早起來就聽到這消息。兒子當場被捕，槍中還有幾发子彈，若警方行动慢一點，可能有更多人會被殺或受傷。他也沒有拒捕，但上庭時卻不認罪，正如大部分罪犯一樣。父母被警方問話，也請了律師，但在等待上庭期間卻決定逃亡，但一天之内就被捕，罪加一等，刑期必然增加幾年。不夠一天的自由，换来的是立刻被拘留，大概不能保釋了，而且被定性的机会更大。
父母愛兒子，但不好好教育，又不了解他的问题，以致成为幫凶，殺傷多人，三人都被拘留，很可能被判入狱，相信不是他们预先想到的，黑色星期五買自动手槍作圣诞礼物送给不了解的兒子，害了别人也害了自己。未成年的兒子现在就當成年人被控，因为案件太严重。父母也因協助或没有阻止兒子殺人而被控，真是“早知今日，何必当初”。
我们大家大概不会犯这样大的罪，但如圣经罗馬書所说，世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的荣耀（因为人是神按照祂的形象而做，应有神的荣耀）。我们都不想害人害己，更不会想自己的兒女害人害己，但我们都在罪海之中，需要救主，正如圣诞节所記念的，天使所言馬利亜要生的兒子是從圣灵所懷的，要给他起名叫耶稣，因他要將自己的百姓從罪悪里救出来。（馬太福音1:21）耶稣原文的意思就是神的拯救，他來是要作我们的救主，将我们從罪海中救出，不單是除去罪的刑罚，也幚我们勝过罪性，将来在天更完全脱离罪恶。這就是天父送给我们圣诞节的礼物，但是只有接受他才能成为他的子女和百姓，才能被救出來，也能再顕出神的荣耀，活出神的形象，利己利人。愿你過一个最有意义，最快楽的圣诞节！

LiAna 洗礼见证
感谢神让我有机会站在这里和大家分享。两年前我来过这里，只是每一次都是来得匆忙，走的也是匆忙。
感谢主让我再次回到这里。
其实我不是广东人。我是湖南人。 2004年的时候，曾受到一位朋友的影响，我开始有了这个信仰。但是没有多久，我的生活发生一些变化。后来经人介绍，我去了广东。感谢神，将我从中国带到了美国，又带到了怀恩堂。
一路以来，生活难免会有叹难和未知，也有过意外。有几次我什至差点连命都没了！当我遇到这些问题的时候，我不知道当时的结果会是什么样。但我清楚我的心需要依靠神，唯一能做的，只有在心里默祷求上帝保佑！
很多时候，我不知道该怎様去祷告才能表达自己的心意。罗马书8:26，保罗写道：我们的輭弱有圣灵的帮助，我们本不晓得怎様祷告，只是圣灵用说不出来的叹息，替我们祷告。
最后，我非常感谢父神对我的保守和眷顾。让我平安存在。希望在以后的生活中，父神会继续保守我，引导我成长。感谢主。

Thank God that I have this opportunity to share with all of you. Two years ago, I came to this church, but I rushed in and out every time. Thank the Lord that I am back here again.
I am not a Cantonese. I am from Hunan. A friend introduced me to this faith in 2004. My life, however, changed shortly thereafter. Due to a friend's connection, I moved to Guangzhou . I thank God for bringing me from China to America and then to GCCC.
My life has been filled with difficulties and unknowns since my arrival. I had a few accidents and nearly died. I had no idea what would happen to me when I faced these difficulties. Still, I knew I should rely on God. All I could do was pray in my heart and ask for His protection!
In many instances, I did not know how to pray to express my own thoughts. Romans 8:26, Paul wrote: "In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
Finally, I would like to thank Father God for his protection and care over me, allowing me to live in peace. Hopefully, Father God will continue to protect me and guide me to grow in my future life. Thank you Lord.

今天早上在英国廣播电台聽了一个筇目，是訪问一个美国專報道Cyber Security 的記者，她也写了一本书，名字叫This is how They told me the World would End, 得了叫McKenzie 的奬，内容就是講Cyber Security 及Cyber Warfare. 在訪问中她卻説现世最大的问题是Climate Change, 第二是Misinformation, Cyber Security 只是第三。
從這訪问中可以知道她对Cyber Security 的認識很高深，对它的历史，发展，现狀，及將來有好的分析。但她卻認为雖然這是现在及未来的大问题，但不及Climate Change 及Misinformation 那么利害。
Climate Change 或者很多人都有相當的認識，都知道它的严重性，个人，社会及国际都在应对當中。Cyber Security 也是專家及政府在面对的问题。但不知道大家对Misinformation 的看法如何？这是我想分享的，因为這是我每天在各方面都看到的严重问题，不但是医疗卫生方面，也在信仰思想领域之中。
在診所医院每天都看到不相信医生及科学的病人，他们相信假消息，以致不接种疫苗，包括流感及新冠，引致自己病重住院甚至死亡，並且傳染親友，也可能增加病毒的变异。他们有些也傳播他们所相信的假消息，誤導别人。
怎样分辨真假不是很容易的，但最重要的是首先要有求真的态度。正如主所应許的，寻找的必寻見。先入为主，堅持己见的，不会寻找，不会寻见。真理是経得起考验，是越辯越明的，但有些人卻不想面对，只是避免伤和气，特别是中国人，尤其是基督徒更要以和为贵，不会求真。懷恩堂的第兄姐妹们真的很著重恩典，但不大著重真理。當然也不应只能著重真理，正如圣经所说的，要在愛中説真理，但也要有智慧，学习“充满恩典和真理”的也满有智慧的主耶稣。
單看懷恩堂幾十年的历史，我看到最大为害的是假道及假教师。整个圣经及教会历史也充满了异端假先知的问题，主耶稣在对末世预言中也多次说“不要受迷惑”，”不要誤信”（太福音24:4，5，23，24，26）。保罗及其他書信也很多提醒我们要提防假師傅，啟示錄也提到最后審判時假先知及跟随者会被丢下火湖。愿我们都寻找及跟随真理的主，主耶稣，祂是唯一的道路，真理和生命，只有藉着祂，我们才可以到天父那里！

Yesterday morning I heard something very interesting on the BBC Radio Broadcast Science Program. It was about Wise or Good Choices: how we make them or not. The main points were as follows:
1. Intelligent and knowledgeable people may not make the wisest decisions if they are not humble and willing to consider and listen to other opinions. As Jesus said,” Blessed are the poor in spirit…Blessed are the meek…”
2. Intuition sometimes helps with wise decisions even when we don’t understand why intellectually. They talked about very complex processes that occur beyond our awareness. Some are moral and some are emotional. They are built in and so are subconscious. It’s been shown that people that have prefrontal lobe damage can lose their intuitive ability even though they can be as intelligent as before. I think the Holy Spirit and our conscience might guide us when our own intelligence and knowledge fail to.
3. We may give wise counsel to others but not to ourselves. This is what they call the Solomon Paradox. King Solomon was wise in making decisions for others but not in his own life. As we all know he married many foreign wives and caused his kingdom to fall into idolatry and ultimate destruction. So we may do well to step back to consider how we might advise others in similar circumstances before we make our own decisions.
